When I was a boy, I used to read about Babe Ruth, the legendary "Home Run King"; he was one of my all-time sports heroes. As an adult, I was casted as an extra in "The Babe" starring John Goodman and Kelly McGillis (Top Gun), which covered his rocky life. Can you see me? I'm the fan directly behind home plate, as well as the center field bleachers later in the film! In this press photo, I'm third row, on the left, and wearing a brown fedora hat that I wore as an extra in the movie "Oscar", starring Sylvestor Stallone and Marrissa Tomei.
I met Bo Derek at a Michigan State "Pre-Rose Bowl" rally in Century City, CA. She gave me her autograph and let me snap this picture of her. She is definitely a 10 in my book!

I met Debbi Fields in Kansas City at a business conference. Debbie is a very warm, caring person, and a great business leader with humble beginnings. Debbi sent me a note on her personal stationary and autographed four cookie cards. You gotta love this girl, a great business owner!
Mr. Iacocca designed the Mustang, gave us the mini-van, and saved Chrysler Corporation; he's a true American icon. I was fortunate to get his autograph.

Actor, Jack Scalia, with me and my wife Helen. Jack considered purchasing my 1935 Auburn Boat-tail Speedster, which had been used on the daytime drama, Days of our Lives. This picture was taken at Jack's office, an estate in the Hollywood Hills of CA. Although Jack didn't purchase the Auburn, we had a great time test-driving it! We drove all over Hollywood ! The Auburn was purchased by a buyer in Belgium and shipped overseas.

America's Cowboy, Actor Roy Rogers. They built the 1984 Olympics Shooting Facility across from Prado Dam in Chino, CA. I took my three young sons to the event and noticed Roy Rogers was standing beside me. I spoke with him for a while and my oldest son took this picture of Roy and me. I remember Roy Rogers's hand shake and how incredibly strong he was for his age! I never saw Roy again; however, while traveling, I met Dale Evans twice!

This was the second time I met Eric Estrada. They first time we met was in an airport gift shop in Fiji on a return trip form New Zealand. Eric Estrada is a very personable individual, who visits with almost everyone on the movie set. My 55 two-seater T-Bird was used as the High School Principal Roddy McDowell's car in the movie Earth Angel.

Former TV Actor and Weight-Loss-Guru, Richard Simmons. They were making the commercial where Richard Simmons drives around the country talking to successful weight loss individuals. My friend asked me to do him a favor and drive his 1956 T-Bird to the filming; his car, mint, is often used in the movies and television and always takes 1st Place in car shows and parades. Here I am giving Richard Simmons instructions on all the T-Bird's equipment. Each time Richard drove the car for filming, I had to back it up for him. I think he can usually be found riding in a limousine. He was very nice on the set and spoke individually to each and every person before the filming was finished.
Life in Danang: James "Doc" Rockett Thon My Thi village, located south of Danang near Marble Mountain, was part of the NSAH MEDCAP. Larger villages often had MEDCAP teams residing in their villages, but villagers of Thon My Thi were treated by NSAH.
Military Family: Proud to Serve! Our family, like many others in the United States, has a proud history of serving our country. From Private John Rockett, who entered the Revolutionary War at age 16, to my son, Michael who served in the U.S. Coast Guard at the Great Lakes, on Search and Rescue Missions.
Harley Davidson: Live to Ride These are my Oregon Buddies, we meet occasionally up at different locations. We originally met at the famous Hollister Independence Rally, home of the filming of THE WILD ONE with Marlon Brando. Now they all have Harley Road Kings, a great cruising bike.
